Providing education and support to improve academic performance fosters self-esteem, curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, independence, and a desire to shape an adult life through cooperation. To demonstrate the impact of the support on the children, grade books and teacher comments serve as key indicators. Additionally, success in end-of-level exams (CEPE, BEPC, BAC), along with passing yearly assessments necessary for progression to the next grade, reflect the effectiveness of the Foundation’s financing for the children’s education and their overall personal development.
2025 Annual Report

Testimonies
“Annah arrived home as a very young child, with health issues that had significantly impacted her overall well-being. Previous disruptions had hindered her learning. Thanks to the daily support provided by Colorie Ma Vie, Annah gradually regained a stable, reassuring environment tailored to her needs. A change of school, carefully planned and supported by the association at the start of the 2025 school year, proved to be a pivotal moment: Annah quickly felt more comfortable, welcomed, and safe. This transition allowed her to rediscover the joy of learning and become more engaged. Today, Annah is in her final year of middle school. Her grades are improving, and she demonstrates a newfound motivation. This improved well-being is evident every day: in her attitude, her participation, and her outlook on the future. Annah’s journey fully illustrates the importance of a supportive family environment, where kindness, stability and high standards allow each child to develop and grow up peacefully.”
“Fanirah arrived at our home at the age of five, after a life marked by violence and extreme hardship, including a start in life spent on the streets. From the moment she arrived, we urgently addressed her basic needs: access to healthcare, food, hygiene, safety, and an initial, appropriate education. Very quickly, Fanirah showed impressive progress. Her health stabilized, her well-being improved, and she thrived in a finally reassuring environment. She attended a small school where she received individualized attention. Her results were excellent, which led us to consider a more prestigious school to better support her potential. However, this change of school has been a challenge. Fanirah experienced a drop in her grades and had more difficulty finding her place in this new environment. Aware of her young age and her past, we remain particularly attentive to her learning. The team is working to re-engage her, strengthen her self-confidence, and adjust the support provided so that she can regain a balance in her academic and personal life. Her journey demonstrates the need for constant attention, a secure environment, and individualized support to allow each child to grow at their own pace, despite the challenges they face.”
“We had to end our partnership with the Michel Ange school, which has faced significant financial difficulties since the beginning of the year. This resulted in frequent teacher absences and a certain fragility in the classes, caused by the instability of the institution. We therefore did not re-enroll the children for the upcoming school year. A large part of the summer was dedicated to searching for new schools and preparing for entrance exams. As is often the case in Madagascar, private schools organize admission tests to select students, which requires a great deal of preparation. Every morning, the children took part in review sessions to strengthen their knowledge and prepare as well as possible for these new steps. Julia and Maddy joined La Ribambelle School. Myali Rose, Emeline, Anna, and Angelo joined Tana City School. Lilas, Lucas, Tafita, Bess, Lohan, and Mike joined ABC School. We chose schools located in the neighborhood of our foster home, in order to limit and monitor travel, while still allowing the children to come home for a proper lunch.”

Additionally, the initiative supported sporting activities where 15 children participated in sports like volleyball, soccer, and basketball, contributing to their social integration and personal development
Testimony
“Ben, a young middle school student supported by our association Colorie Ma Vie, has just reached an important milestone in his academic career: obtaining his BEPC (French National Certificate of Vocational Education). His path hasn’t always been straightforward. Faced with significant academic difficulties during middle school, Ben notably repeated his 5th grade. While initially perceived as a hindrance, this repetition proved to be a positive turning point in his development. It allowed him to revisit the fundamentals, strengthen his skills, and regain a form of self-confidence essential for any progress. Thanks to the regular, personalized support offered by our association, Ben was gradually able to regain a more stable academic dynamic. He learned to organize himself, ask for help when necessary, and, above all, believe in his abilities.
Today, we are proud to announce that Ben has successfully completed his BEPC (French National Certificate of Vocational Education). This achievement marks the culmination of a long-term effort, but also the beginning of a new phase. Next year, Ben will join a general second-year class, with the desire to go further.”
