Soft skills and support for vocational students at Lý Tự Trọng College

Since the beginning of this year, these students have participated in quarterly training workshops on a variety of topics. The most recent session, held in May, focused on Customer Service, which is a crucial skill for those aiming to pursue careers involving client interaction and relationship management. The workshop featured the participation of the Country Director of Concentrix Vietnam, the Human Resources Leader, and experienced local staff from the company’s internal training team.

These training activities, along with financial aid, free English classes (held twice a week) and other forms of support under the Pathways for Prosperity project, are made possible thanks to the generosity of our donors. The primary sponsor over the next two years is Think Human Fund, with a total contribution of EUR 77,340. The fund is managed by the King Baudouin Foundation and financed by Concentrix, with a mission to support nonprofit organisations in increasing access to quality education and enhancing climate resilience.

Supporting young adults in vocational training centres continues to be one of saigonchildren’s key initiatives in the years ahead, with the ambition of expanding this model to other regions where we work.
