Cite Saint-Damien’s inauguration of new school building

July 14, 2026

In Agonsoudja, Benin, many children face barriers to quality education. Limited school resources, a lack of extracurricular opportunities, and little to no specialized support for children with learning difficulties can hinder academic success and future opportunities. Recognizing these challenges, we, together with Cité Saint-Damien, are working to create a more inclusive and supportive learning environment for children in the community.

A key focus of the project is the construction of a new primary school that will help meet the growing demand for quality education. Designed to double the number of available primary school classes in the short term and support the future opening of a secondary school, the new facility represents a significant investment in the community’s future.

A major milestone was reached on June 3, when Concentrix Benin participated in the inauguration of the new school building, which will provide many children with a safer and more supportive learning environment for years to come.

Today, the school serves 146 students, including 70 girls and 76 boys, providing them with a safer and more engaging learning environment.

Through improved infrastructure, inclusive education, and targeted learning support, this project is helping create a future where every child in Agonsoudja has the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Together, we are building more than classrooms—we are building pathways to opportunity and hope for generations to come.
