Mission & History
The Dr. Robert Fiadjoe Foundation for Quality is guided by a clear mission: to contribute to the well-being of society, with a particular focus on the African continent. This mission is carried out through voluntary initiatives that celebrate the unique gifts and talents of each individual, encouraging personal growth and development. Supporting the underprivileged is at the heart of the foundation’s work, reflecting the values of its namesake.
Dr. Robert Fiadjoe was a devoted humanist who embodied the principles of solidarity, generosity, and compassion throughout his life, including in his work as a physician. The foundation continues his legacy by striving to cultivate and promote human potential in environments that support personal development, enabling individuals to discover and express their “UNIQUE BEING.”

Country Information
Côte d’Ivoire, with an estimated population of approximately 33.18 million in 2025, is a French-speaking presidential republic. Its economy is largely driven by agriculture, particularly cocoa and coffee production, alongside a growing industrial sector. The country gained independence on August 7, 1960. While the national primary school enrolment rate stands at 94%, significant disparities remain, especially in disadvantaged urban areas.
In Attécoubé 3, for instance, over 10,000 residents live in precarious conditions, highlighting a critical need for inclusive and accessible local educational infrastructure.
The Need
In a disadvantaged neighborhood of Abidjan, vulnerable children face an urgent and growing need for equitable access to quality education. Poverty, overcrowded conditions, and a lack of adequate educational infrastructure severely limit their learning opportunities. Many are at risk of falling behind or dropping out altogether, reinforcing a cycle of exclusion and hardship. Without access to a supportive learning environment, these children are denied the basic tools necessary for their development and long-term prospects. The situation underscores the pressing need to address these educational inequalities and ensure that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has a fair chance to learn and thrive.
The Project We Fund
The ESDRAS project seeks to eliminate barriers to free and quality primary education for vulnerable children in Attécoubé 3. It integrates the Ivorian national curriculum with an active pedagogy that emphasizes human values, soft skills, talent development, a love of learning, and community involvement. The overarching goal is to nurture “quality generations”—young individuals whose education, behavior, sense of initiative, and actions will have a lasting positive impact on their communities. By strengthening the connection between the school and the community, the project tackles issues such as academic failure, neglect, and intergenerational poverty. It is committed to educating and empowering the children of Attécoubé 3 with values of excellence, leadership, and self-awareness of their unique talents.
